Burnham Boiler Lockout: The Manual, a Dirty Blower, and a Honeywell Thermostat With No Reset Button

It was 6:40 a.m. on a Tuesday in January 2024. The outside temp was 19°F. A tenant in Building 2 knocked on my office door wearing a heavy coat and said three words: No heat.

I've been handling boiler service orders for a three-building apartment complex for about eight years. I've made my share of mistakes, and I keep a checklist so the next person doesn't repeat them.
